Mrs. Cierra Conerly-Sims has been in the event planning business for over 11 years. She has extensive experience in weddings, corporate and non-profit events, and personal engagements. She has been fortunate to work on some truly inspiring projects in the community, while meeting many influential and creative individuals along the way. She is dedicated to giving back to the community and believes in working together to create a whole experience greater than the sum of its parts. Anytime you book services with SIS (Sisters Inspiring Society), a portion of the fee will go back into the community supporting youth mentor programs.

42Designs by Ta’Ziyah is a jewelry company founded in 2018 by CEO and owner Shelly Smith in Okinawa, Japan. While living in Okinawa, Shelly was gifted with bag hand-made jewelry by one of her friends. Shelly took great interest in the designs and stones used to create these bracelets, and this changed the course of Shelly’s life.
Shelly began researching the fundamentals of jewelry design and handmade jewelry as a business. Shelly reflected on all the information she acquired after months of research and practicing different techniques in jewelry design and decided to embark on her journey to develop her brand and company. The company 42Designs by Ta’Ziyah is meaningfully named to represent the birth date of her sons Trevor, Ta’Ziyah, and Matteo.
The name Ta’Ziyah was added is in honor of her son who passed away in 2016. Shelly’s hope is that with every piece of jewelry created by her hands, she is spreading the love, comforting embrace, unique characteristic, passion, and a beautiful energy that Ta’Ziyah possessed.
Shelly began designing and creating beaded bracelets and necklaces in Okinawa, Japan but, as a military spouse, production of her business abruptly stopped due to her husband receiving orders back to the United States. The transition from Japan to the US took a toll on the operation and cohesive functioning of 42Designs By Ta’Ziyah, but this did not hinder Shelly from continuous work on making handmade jewelry.
As a military spouse, she learned the meaning of resiliency and applied it. 42Designs By Ta’Ziyah’s jewelry are 100% created by hand in a home studio without utilizing machinery or mass production in any form. Designing handmade jewelry allows Shelly to refocus the pain and sadness she experiences from losing her son into A passion for carrying on his legacy. Each piece is created with precious and semi-precious stones which are said to promote spiritual, emotional, and physical healing powers.
Shelly is constantly designing and creating jewelry for the company and explore nature as her source of influence. The company utilizes premium materials when designing and creating an array of pieces for all genders. 42Designs By Ta’Ziyah’s mission is to create durable, fashionable, and functional hand-made jewelry. The company’s visions are to evolve and hold a dominant position in handmade jewelry on a global scale and to collaborate with different charitable organizations as means of giving back to society.
Shelly is native of the beautiful twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago; Shelly now resides with her active duty Marine Corps husband and sons in sunny Southern California.
