Her personal journey has not been without challenges. In her professional career, she has encountered leaders who underestimated her abilities due to her quiet demeanor. However, Dr. Jaye has demonstrated her leadership through tangible contributions, successful projects, and community-focused initiatives. She has turned her introverted strengths—such as active listening, strategic thinking, and building trust—into tools for impactful decision-making and effective leadership. Dr. Jaye is committed to supporting other women navigating similar challenges, helping them embrace their introversion and show up authentically in leadership roles.

Dr. Jaye’s dedication to increasing representation and success among African American women in project management is evident in her scholarly work. She authored a study exploring the perspectives of African American women project managers in the U.S. aerospace and defense industry, with the goal of fostering inclusion and project success.

As the Co-Host of the Introverted Vibes Extroverted Energy podcast, Dr. Jaye delves into the intersection of introversion, extroversion, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
